Jane's Pond

My friend, Jane, has a home on this pond, which is on the backwater of the Bitterroot. We walk the dogs around there. We found a lovely 3.5 year old Aussie red heeler for her a month ago...its owner died in an accident. It was at the animal shelter that M & I support with animal portraits, auction items and memorials. We brought Jane over and it was love at first sight. Happy are we to be able to walk the fur-kids along this beautiful river under a quilt of clouds. Happily, the trees haven't shed all their leaves yet; so we're still agog at the amazing colors. We're also a-giggle at the two dogs romping. :-) They're great play-mates.
