The Wild Wild West

Baskerville country...

Well, not quite, but the sunshine gave way to mist and then the fog came in. As the darkness fell, the idea of magic, myths, creatures and goblins became more and more likely.

I confess I like this time of year. Not the driving-home-in-the-dark bit, but the general feeling of darkness, mist, nights closing in, the yearning towards log fires and warm cider. The night was still mild so a short walk down the road for some interesting food for dinner was good. Eggs, vegetables, capers. What better supper can there be?
