Perspective..

This is Eastwood house. From a perspective I've never seen before. I was training there this afternoon and took a walk round the perimeter when I'd finished. I needed some air and some quiet.

Our council needs to save £28m over the next three years and Education - my department - is tasked with finding 50% of these savings. I found out today that my post is being offered up as a saving. I love my job. I love my council. I'm devastated.

But, as one door closes....
