The Boat House.

This little building was once the place to hire a boat on the small lake in our town Botanic Garden. Alas, no more. For years it has lain hidden, deteriorating and forlorn. There is a plaque attached to a wall announcing that the Local Authority is restoring it, the sign looks almost as bad as the surroundings.
Take a look at the slates on the roof, they are a delight to the eye. I just hope it doesn't get torn down on the instructions of some mindless committee in the town hall.
