Marwood Gardens in winter

I went for a quiet stroll around Marwood Gardens this afternoon. Apart from a mother and child the gardens were quite empty - amazing considering it was not raining and it is half term - but that said it was delightfully peaceful. I am sure the flowers are as confused as I am - there were snowdrops out already and some summer (usually) flowering plants as well..only a few but there they were! The autumn colours are still quite spectacular; it was a pleasant hour's meander.
