Box of bookmarks

My son suggested this because his is doing a school project where they have to design a bookmark. He suggested I showed off my humble collection of bookmarks that have been accumulated over the years. Apart from books I'm not a great collector but when it comes to bookmarks simply can't resist.

For me they have the power to spark a memory of a day out, holiday or a brilliant read. Sadly as we move towards magnetic bookmarks and digital books fewer places are selling them but until they disappear I'll continue to add to the collection.
