bird + grass

Here’s the thing; we bought a bird-shaped bird feeder and filled it with seeds. We then sat back and waited for our avian friends to stop by. And waited. And waited. But still they did not come. Instead, the seeds sprouted and we now have a new lawn.

I’m wondering what to call this blip and google ‘bird+grass’ and lo and behold - this from uncle wiki;

Bird Grass; a grass, Poa trivialis, grown in temperate regions of North America largely for lawns and turf.

And this is the wonder of blip; what starts off as an abstract idea for an image - grass growing out of a ceramic bird - turns out to have a real-life connotation. And I’ve learned something new.
