ARCHIE

I'd love to be able to tell you I went out hunting in the woods with full camouflage gear on and shot this White Faced Owl with a massively long lens but I'd be lying through my teeth. The reality was a trip to the photographic retailer, Calumet who had an Open Day. We got free sensor cleaning for a donation to a worthy charity, two excellent presentations, one by a Reuters sports photographer and the other by David Noton, world famous landscape photographer. We then had a chance to drool over loads of beautiful camera gear and get a chance to try it out. And, last but by no means least, a chance to shoot Archie. He quietly sat on his log in the store while we all got a chance to take his picture. Definitely worth a look in large!
