The wonders of a Monday evening trip to Asda.

October seems determined to break the bank in terms of quality new releases. No sooner are Aphex Twin, Caribou and Flying Lotus out of the traps then another bunch come along, including a pretty epic sounding release from a band I've never got along with before (The Twilight Sad). I still get the faint whiff of Glasvegas when I listen too closely, but they do seem to have come of age. You can stream their album here.
