Hamish McHamish

Hamish was a beautiful ginger feline, he led a nomadic lifestyle and lived around the town of St Andrews being fed by the community, he was much loved by the locals and tourists.
The community raised £5000 to erect a statue in his honour, sculptured by David Annand and is located in Church Square, St Andrews.
Hamish died on 11th September this year, he was 15 years old.
He rose to fame following the publication of his book entitled Hamish McHamish of St Andrews: Cool Cat About Town by Susan McMullen.
