Postman Pat

My wife was a big fan of Postman Pat as a child, she is still now as well really. We put it on the TV for Luke as well who seems to enjoy it. Although Pat does seem slightly less reliable and more calamitous that we remember.
We've lived in Kendal for a while and never visited Abbot Hall museum and it turns out they've had a Postman Pat exhibition on all summer and it finishes this week and we didn't know a thing about it. As it turns out it wasn't really much, a mock up of a post office with a Mrs Goggins outfit that I apparently don't suit. Along with that there were a few cases of memorabilia, books etc from various era of Pat and a little ride in Postman Pat van. Luke enjoyed the van as well. So a little disappointing there wasn't more but nice to see those bits and we checked out the rest of the museum as well, and only a fiver each for a year pass - I'll keep an eye on what they have on in future.
