Drawing

Tonight we attended a fantastic Halloween party at my husband's workplace. The kids were given a pumpkin bucket of goodies, they could use it to trick or treat around the hallways of the office and find the giant pumpkins and cauldrons left out for that purpose, there was mask painting, face painting, a balloon artist, a photo booth, pizza, salad, a massive table of treats, haunted and scary rooms to go in, a costume contest and...an artist drawing caricatures.
Our daughter's portrait will likely be another post.
However she was so utterly intent on what the artist was doing!! He didn't have to tell her to sit still, just to look up as she followed every move of the pencil then pens on the paper.
She also chose "how to draw my little pony" books from the school book fair this morning.

Since neither my husband nor I can really draw - we await the next artistic step and will try to encourage it with our limited talents!!

Happy Halloween everyone - be safe, get a parent to check the candy/sweets, look both ways when crossing the road, use flashlights/torches, don't go into a strangers house, and don't eat too much or stay up too late!!
