It is Friday

Arrived back in Kendal after our Yorkshire trip in time for the weekly jazz at Burgundy's. And a great sight to see - Paul Palmer and his saxophones with Jon Moore on guitar and Steve Simpson on bass. And with them a lady that I recognised from a studio painting I did many years ago - 2007!

But last night it was Jon Moore on his guitar that inspired me to paint - his concentration, a challenging angle and he was standing still so easier to render in a sketch!
