The Joy of looking at Men in Underpants
Well some of them, anyway!!
I met up with Kath in town and we had a photo mooch. We thought we had found our pic of the day when we watched spooky group singing on Market Street....they were toe tappingly good....so we went for a chat over a little snackette.
When we wandered passed the Town Hall the huge Father Christmas was being assembled and titivated before it is lifted onto the roof. We took a few pics and thought we had a better pic for the day.
But......it was when we walked passed a new shop, JOY, that was having its opening that we found our best pic of the day. Apparently, the first twenty people who entered the shop wearing only their underwear would get an outfit for free. I had to hold Kath back as she was keen to strip off, but we didn't have time to do any shopping. I had to get home to do some baking!
A few baking blippers had decided that we would make Hallowe'en biscuits today. When I returned from town I mixed up a dough and it is it the fridge now. I was going to have them for my pic today, but I had to use the young men in underpants...especially the toned body of the lad in the hat!!!
I'm just going to roll out and cut my dough....but I'm not sure I can compete with Paola as her spooky biscuit scene is fabulous. I'll add a link to the pics later.....now I'm orf to bake!!
9pm: ok the Hallowe'en Biscuits are made. Paola is in another league to me!! I've iced half of them and as there are 18 biscuits in total I took one round to Jennifer. I then knocked on Kathryn's door wearing my eyeball headband. She was delighted to have a Hallowe'en biscuit and I stopped for a large glass of vino. Kathryn then said she liked my eye make up too...."It's real!" I said.".I've got a black eye!!" How we laughed...well she laughed, I still find it painful :((
Anyway....the biscuits are made :)
