The booster tree

Today was sunny and warm, it felt like the last breath of Summer.

I went out for a walk without a coat, or even a hoodie, and tried not to think about how long it's probably going to be before I can do that again.

This is one of my favourite trees at the moment. It's on the main road through the village and when you walk from our house, it's more green than red, but when you come back towards home, it's more red and the sight of it is enough to give me a boost, if I'm flagging.
