Freight

An Eek-midnight-approaches emergency blip.

The Cambridge work trips usually try to pack in far too much into two evenings, tonight being no exception. Wednesday is the day I work longer to enable an earlier departure on Thursday; following work with buying a replacement PVR, picking up post from the old house, and getting over to Skyrider's for a meal and a game, then back to lodgings (having been texted locking-up instructions!).

The game was Rolling Freight, a railway themed, dice-as-resource game. Not sure it's one I'll reach for too often again. It's a reasonable idea but doesn't flow well and I found the artwork unhelpful - mismatched colours in too small areas, key bits obscured by other pieces, etc. Rather a case of style over function in my opinion.
