Halloween?

The Teen has gone to a party in a fancy dress costume that was scary only to her father! Apparently it's inspired by a character from a novel called The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Perhaps the scary aspect for me,as her mum, is that she's wearing the boots I got married in!
We are left equally horrified by the time we have to stay awake until in order to collect her - it's not the first time but we've a few years of this yet!
