Plecostomus
My RA has been bad today and I have been reduced to using the stairlift. This is a quick blip of one of our Plecostomus catfish, attacking a lump of raw courgette I have just put into the tank. We have 2 of these fish which are now about 9" long, and they coexist peacefully with loads of other smaller fish, including several baby guppies. In fact, very young guppies, about 5mm long can sometimes be seen cleaning the catfish while they appear to be asleep. I give the catfish a piece of courgette like this every other evening, and it is usually virtually gone by the following morning.
