Vintage stuff

We went in to Saffron Walden this morning for a meeting, followed by lunch. It was a beautiful day…tee shirt weather making for happy shoppers and smiling faces. I had a quick look for vintage buttons in the charity shops, but most had sold their complete stock and box to a lady!! So someone is doing the rounds buying up all buttons…..I wonder why?

The town has a high percentage of coffee shops, charity shops and unusual small shops, this being a newly opened one selling vintage stuff. I bought 3 unusual buttons for 50p, the money went in to the Poppy collecting tin. I must go back and have a better look when I’m on my own.
