Pigeon

I went back to the pond today, in the hope that the heron I saw yesterday might still be around. Sadly, no. Not a lot of time, and this pigeon was kind enough to stay still for a moment or two. I like it's colours.

I think it is a wood pigeon, perhaps a young one. No doubt a Blipper out there will keep me right.
