What was I thinking?

Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin; the place was bubbling.

That was our first stop of the day and the sun was just coming out from the rainclouds. . Our last (tourist) stop of the day was the Reichstag and the sun was just setting. In between, we had a wander through town, a wander through a WW2 bunker, a great lunch, a wander in a fancy new gallery district and a wander along the Spree. Phew!

Finally, we met up with Elke who's in town for the weekend and had a good old chat over dinner. I listened a lot!
