Usher in Halloween

To the Usher Hall in Edinburgh for the annual Halloween silent movie with
live organ accompaniment. This year it was 1920 German classic Der Golem, with Thomas Edison's 1910 Frankenstein as supporting feature.

Donald McKenzie, as ever, was a brilliant accompanist, improvising around various themes, while the audience members in fancy dress were a hoot - my favourites were the Flying Monkey - just in from Oz - and Ms Nosferatu. She was worried because her nose was falling off, but doesn't she look fantastic?

And as a bonus, EdiSteve and I bumped into our chums Shona, Andy and Paul. None of us are meant to look frightening ...
