Halloween

Happy Birthday, Bob! A call to sing to him early this morning made my day! Rick and I decided it was time to cut the dead birch in front. Rick said it was a 3 hr job. As he was cutting limbs after felling it, and I was picking up twigs, the town chipper came up the avenue. Rick had planned to cut up the trunk for firewood. As the truck went by he said, " If they stop and want to chip it all, they can!" They did and our 3 hr. job became an hour long job! Perfect timing!

A great evening of lasagna, visits with friends and neighbors, a walk to gather candy and a deal made with Colby. I bought all his candy for 15.00! He wanted to purchase a couple of books. Surprised, he loves candy, and proud of my boy! Kay is sleeping over and we are all tired. Good night!
