Lone Camper

We went for a lovely walk tonight around to the Town Beach at Port Macquarie and on our way back to the Caravan Park we were astonished to see just how lonely the Wombat Trakka looked as it sat all alone near the Breakwater.

Port Macquarie is a very popular holiday destination but probably more so in school holidays. We were very lucky to strike it at a time when we had absolute peace and solitude.

Very worried for our friends in the Blue Mountains tonight as we watch news of the bush fires in Katoomba.
