Another glorious blue skies day here after a damp start. I walk past this house most days. Henry Bacon made his money via the wool trade, he was Sheriff 1548. This house is associated with the Kett's rebellion : a response to land reforms. There's some useful history from Wiki at here. The Green Party still commemorate Thomas Kett. It was a very significant moment in English history.
