Getting Undressed - the Half-Naked Tree at Dawn

YET another lonely and graceful local tree.

Already lost half its leaves - a change of times and of seasons changing, crisply set against the hazy glow of sunrise.

With weather that's closing in and the thought of another few hours grappling in the dark to get tonight's fireworks (it's £10 to get in, so I would be standing on wind-swept hill quite a long way away, just for ten minutes of 'action'.

Normally that would be a cinch and definitely on but after yesterday's walk, carrying said piece of photographic appendage, then I'm giving it a miss. And, Bonfire Night is the 5th, not the 1st, trust the organisers to jump on the band wagon this early. Like Christmas, they'll soon be letting them off in July!

And you wouldn't get this little beauty, either!

There'll be other displays over the next week, I'm sure.
