Through the Looking-Glass

A project meeting took me this time to Manchester. The social programme of the first meeting day included a guided tour in a beautiful neo-gothic Town Hall. It is decorated with lovely details such as mosaic floors, panelled and patterned ceilings, arch hallways and spiral marble staircases with pillars. I loved also the dialogue of architecture and sculptures seen in this shot.

Some scenes in the new Sherlock Holmes movie were filmed in this building, but unfortunately I did not happen to meet any film stars.
