Layered wooden sculpture

JanetH and I decided on the sculpture park at Bretton hall as our trip out today. Lovely autumn light, sunshine and a mild day. We had a lovely wander amongst the sweeping lawns, kicking leaves, and a good woodland walk too. Shame the lake water level was low. To say we are cynics rather than art buffs would be a bit of an understatement! JanetH was describing her theory of nodders and shakers , think we were definite shakers! And reading some of the explanations left us a little bemused....lots of photo opportunities and a lovely day out though. We really liked the exhibition of wooden strata sculpture, but were less sure of the crystal bed sit! Collected outdoor shopping purchases for dad mo way home( another story) and then tea.
