Water, water, everywhere.

This is a small section of the attendance at our local Anti-water-charges protest march. Protestors from four neighbouring parishes came together at the Walkinstown Roundabout. The crowd were estimated at between 4,000 and 6,000 people.
Of course it rained, but that didn't dampen the spirits.
This was just one of over ninety countrywide demonstrations, many of them much larger. All were very well behaved, but determined. One of the biggest rounds of applause was when the organisers thanked the police force for their assistance.
Because it was raining we had to retire to the pub afterwards to balance the interior and exterior wetness. Time flew by, needless to say, hence the late blip.
