All Saints Day
All Saints Day is a public holiday in Austria. In the preceding days the community tends to the graves of its loved one, planting dishes of autumn flowering plants, decorating with Christmas dried arrangements and making sure the candles are left burning. In the evening it is a tradition for families to visit the cemetery and pay tribute to their relatives that are resting there. It was quite a sight with the twinkling candles and decorated graves in the twilight. Everything is sparkling as most of the graves and headstones are made from the local granite. It was quite difficult to do long exposures with people walking in front of the camera - I got a few "ghosts" in the frame. I had ti up the Iso as it got darker but the resulting images were very grainy. This is one of the twilight images.
