My recent habit of night time walks (since acquiring my Fitbit) lends itself to a sometimes-series of thoughts for the end of the day. Today's thought is that there are three weeks till I go home to see my kin for a bit.

All you who sleep tonight
Far from the ones you love,

And emptiness above -
