Catastrophe!

So last week Red had a go at trimming his own hair - several curls found on the floor and an inch long fringe remaining!

I did MrRoly's hair this morning with the clippers then had a go at Red's, only the clippers had gone blunt (very very old trimmers) and were pulling so I stopped.

This evening, armed with a new set of trimmers, I had another go. Only I hadn't realised the longest blade was half the length of the old blade. Red wouldn't sit still so I couldn't see what I was doing and long story short, he's been scalped. Not a single curl left.

At least tomorrow night's Sunday night bath time nit comb session should be a bit easier (trying to see that half full glass...
