Montgomery Day

All day at the cathedral running activities for children at the James Montgomery Day (with Hilary & Rebekah.)

I went a bit Downton Abbey with my costume. Laid flowers in front of a crowd at his statue, took part in a little play, met the author of the book on Montgomery, performed in a puppet show, heard fab piano music and met James Montgomery aka actor Chris Binns.

Great day. Extraordinary man of faith, with a big impact on the city. A campaigning abolitionist who also worked to improve conditions for climbing boys (and girls!)
