Plato's Cave.
Plato's Cave Theory - basically, it's not easy to change people's perceptions.
Physics and Philosophy today.
Today we talked about
*Plato's Cave - as above
*Photography as Allegory
*The definition of light
*And the three qualities of light you have to master to be a great photographer. - wanna know what they are?
*Contrast
*Direction
*Colour
Everytime we have this class I feel happy and shocked.
I like the idea of philosophy, but I was never good at physics.
It's also a lot to get your head around.
The Parting words from our tutor: "Whatever you see had already happened. Nothing is in the present."
I actually feel kinda ok about that last statement.
Saw this chair and graffiti as I walked to class this morning and tok this when I finshed this afternoon - I think I liked the lighting better this morning.
My school is to the left and up the road a bit - this is outside a shop called Where The Fox Lives, i've never been in.
PARAMORE tomorrow, and have yet to figure out how i'm getting home...
Also, don't you hate that moment when someone starts talking about one of their friends, who seems to be very like you.
This person doesn't know you that well, so they don't know they're talking about you.
Then they saw, aww thats so sad and they would really hate to be that person and you just nod and agree.
I just read something that said don't try to be someone you're not.
*sigh*
