French window light

This was taken in France at my best friends Grandmas house. At 83 she has fallen ill, and lost her sight and has had to leave her home of 40 years to come to England to be cared for. Her home has been shut up for 9 months~ the typical French shutters closed.. Her whole life sits in the walls of this house ... The light flooding in for the first time in months into her home was so beautiful ~ and her eyes will never see it again....
