New housemate

This is the biggest spider i've met outside of a zoo. The farmer's daughter showed me this huntsman who has taken up residence in the house...she hates spiders and wouldn't go near. I got as close as a small step-ladder and my outstretched arms would allow!

It is just bigger than my hand-span for reference, and I have fairly big hands!
