Odd Appeal

One week on from home coming and I was all ready to take on a bit of Blipping after a whole week of sleeping when I should have been awake and vice versa.
My "clock" seemed to have re-set itself finally.

So off we went along Beach Road to see what we could see - and there was plenty going on...
I photographed dozens of black Swans, with vibrant bright red beaks, feeding in the shallows at Rickett's Point. Also took a number of shots of a pair of Cockatoos that had us laughing out loud at their antics as they played about with each other in the trees on the foreshore. The seas and skies etc etc…

BUT - This old wardrobe that had been thrown out and was waiting to be taken away by the rubbish collectors, is what really struck a chord with me today.
I loved the "smiley face" that shone out at me from the peeling paint and broken doors. Avoiding the broken glass lying all around it, I quite happily spent some time shooting it from different angles.
You just never know where a smile is just waiting for you to notice it -
And smile back :)
