Peaceful
Bright, sunny day with light breeze.
Thank you again to everyone who has sent me supportive comments and good wishes over the past week or so. I am resting at home, making sure I build up my strength after the operation. Strange though, missing out on attending our worship service. I am blessed in that my granddaughter, who is training to be a nurse in Edinburgh, has come up to help look after me for a few days.
Not being able to be out I turned to the garden again for inspiration. This yellow rose spoke to me about Peace. It is not actually a Peace Rose (it is called Guy's Gold) but it is very like one. If there is one thing I am grateful for is that I have learned through the years to be at peace in all circumstances. Sadly, it is something which is missing in so many people and, of course, among people groups around the world. My hope is that one day the Prince of Peace will return and usher in an age without wars, when there will be no more tears and no more sorrows.
One day soon I shall have the strength to get back to commenting on your blips - and actually have good wifi as well!
