the world through half closed eyes

This shot is not really out of focus......really it's not!!!

It was taken on way to work this morning. I was taken by the effect of the sun o the flowers, contrasting with the shadows around it. Only had time for one shot as running, well walking quickly to catch bus to work. The holiday is over.Had busy day yesterday, so am tired. I didn't have motivation to upload it until saturday, as I never got home until 10 having left this house at 6 this morning. I hadn't realised that Princes street traffic would still be affected after the fire in one of the shops. 2 bus stops were closed----mine. I had to walk further to catch my connection home, as my bus passed me by.

I had been promised time off the job this afternoon to see youngest son giving a presentation, but couldn't go, as we were working short, and would have meant an inexperienced person being left in charge......not fair. Instead I worked non stop, missed out on breaks in the afternoon, and worked late.

I had great news this morning, my working week is being reduced by 3 hours (at my request) It means that I'll only do 3 shifts a week instead of the occassional 4.
