Loughrigg Tarn

Lovely weather first thing so I went out early to see what I could capture. No 1 son had decided he needed a lie in and so I managed to get out and back before he surfaced. As it was early the roads were fairly empty going north. Loughrigg Tarn and Blea Tarn were on the agenda.

We went out for late lunch to a local pub at Cartmel Fell. No 1 son's favourite watering hole in these parts and he managed to polish off 3 courses fairly swiftly.

We chilled out at home in the evening which was nice, all feeling slightly full from earlier. We watched the latest Dr Who episode.

Not normally my thing but I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the final episode next week.
