Seasonal Celebration

Today has been a miserable day for the weather - a few glimpses of the sun but not very much! We, though, have been to a wonderful celebratory meal which has occupied most of the day.

The subjects of my blip are Valerie and Keith who are celebrating 50 years of marriage. We have got to know them through village affairs and they have been loyal supporters of most of our concerts. We were honoured to be included in the guest list for the amazing lunch which was mostly family members. The meal was held at Hartwell House, well known for high quality food and surroundings.

We met some very interesting people and had a lovely time. The occasion was even more amazing as Valerie is suffering with Parkinsons but is always so positive and immaculately turned out.

The season is also celebrated with the poppy!
