Blueberry Pancakes

Ever since Dan took us for breakfast in NYC on the morning of my birthday I have been obsessed with blueberry pancakes and bacon so this morning I decided I wanted to have a go at making them. Yesterday I was making mixed berry mulled spice brandy so I had some left over blueberries so I had a good excuse. Unfortunately the maple syrup had gone off so we had to make do with golden syrup but otherwise it was a triumph so anyone who wants to come stay will be getting this for breakfast. We needed a big breakfast as we spent the day working on the man shed and then tidying around the house before I go back to work tomorrow. Half term has gone too quickly.
