Chutney

Spent the day mostly playing through the set of songs we assembled on Monday - dear me, I really have some work to do on the banjo playing.

Interspersed with this I deconstructed the pumpkin that's been brooding in the kitchen for a month or so, removed the seeds for future roasting, and made a batch of spicy pumpkin and apple chutney (see above). The whole beast had weighed in at 14 pounds (around the same size as this) and one quarter of it peeled and cored yielded there was a kilo of flesh. So we still have three quarters of it in the fridge.....
