Marathon Day

We had a delightful dinner in NYC tonight with #3 son and his fiancée. We came into the city late to avoid the marathon madness and will go home tomorrow. Our future daughter -in-law has run the marathon twice and also trained for the marathon the year it was cancelled. She took this year off because she has been busy with wedding plans but she is already talking about 2015.

I came across this unusual reconfiguration of airplane parts on a side street of Philadelphia this morning. The windows along the under side of the fuselage revealed an interior full of well-tended potted plants.
