RUDE AWAKENING!

I'm not sleeping well at the moment, and last night - or this morning - I was very late or early, to bed, and slept reasonably well until the sound of a hydraulic hammer drill woke me.

Our neighbours are having their drive block paved and of course, there is a lot of work to be done before the paving stones can be laid. They are supposed to finish the work in a week - but Lyn is so kind and even before they had started had given them coffee and biscuits, so they could be here for two weeks at this rate!

Here are Jonnie and Jack, taking another well-earned break - with coffee and chocolate biscuits this time - how could you blame them for making the job last!

All joking aside, they are good workmen - just wish we could afford to have ours done but I’m not grumbling because it got me a good blip for today!!
