Hoy High

Hoy High Lighthouse is located on the island of Graemsay and it helps vessels to navigate the roads into Stromness harbour and Scapa Flow. The hill behind is Ward Hill, the highest point in Orkney.

Another glorious, sunny, flat calm morning. After a quick visit to Hoy I recommenced painting the trellis and then removing the bath from the second bathroom. It’s been non-stop today with three delivery vans, the postie and then a canvassing prospective councillor all visiting.
