A lot of trial and error went into this mono Monday Old and New blip with idea after idea being discarded and I am still not satisfied with the result.

What is it? well, its an old audio tape capable of recording for one hour and alongside it is a SD card , a fraction of the size, yet able to store several hundred hours of audio.
