Up early and Juno walked.

I got dropped at football to get the balls and kit. I met some of the team for breakfast and a chat.

We headed to the game, a local derby, we lost the first fixture 4-0.

A low key warm up, this was the final game of the season and my final 15s game for a while. Taking 2 teams saturday and sunday has been tough and leaving me with little free time.

Anyway these girls have been great, 14 of them have kept going all season.

A 0-0 first half, with little chances to us, the opposition playing long ball which we were prepared for.

Downhill and a bit of wind we headed into the second half. Good shape kept and great pressure. A moment of beauty when our centre mid skipped past a tackle and shot immediately with the ball sailing into the top corner from outside the box, A great moment as I had worked one to one with her on her shooting for a couple of hours. Then a team performance out of the top drawer, pressed and kept the shape to hold out, a last minute penalty missed by our hosts.
