Kintail river crossing

Caught up with the Stevie, Fiona, Andrei and that crew. Up the hill, the weather was a bit wet and wild, but very fun. First full hill day in a long time - while my calves appear to be in decent shape from the cycling, my thighs were already aching half way down the descent.

Then to pub for beer and food. We'd seemed out of place in the local pub the night before - the only group not in ghoulish fancy dress. (The mummy was good - Gandi even better.)

Bumped into my sister's next door neighbour and her dog - both lovely.

A fine day.
