Mummy on a Mission

Wicker

I nearly forgot my Blip...nearly. This is of a wicker heart that hangs in my lounge. I think it represents the muddle of a day I have had and my muddle of interwoven thoughts.

First day back at work today after two weeks off. My desk looked as though a grenade had exploded on it with a range of post it's left for me. :( however 5 hours later....it looked ....well, a little better.

First day back too for the Munckins...all good. No accidents, no trouble.

A little boy jumped in front of my car while on the narrow road to my sons school at pick up time. It was like slow motion but thankfully I have fast reactions and I drive like a snail down this road at this time and was able to break, but still hard. I was shook up but be casually continued walking along. I have no idea where the parent was. I hate to think if it had been a different driver not as careful.

Have had a terrible headache all day but since S is staying with me I was able to go to Camera Club tonight. Four members from another photographic society presented their work to us which was very interesting. But it was one lady who took us on a journey of her wonderful digitally projected images that made a real impression on me. Superb shots of European brown bears taken on the Finnish/ Russian border. Just marvellous.

Unfortunately my two journal entries stuck in the upload queue can't be retrieved. A glitch. :( So I will have to redo these tomorrow.

ps. Just in case anyone is interested...Little Miss E woke up in her own bed this morning. Four times I had to send her back in the middle of the night.
